Jo has worked for the NHS since 1995 and gained a first class honours degree as a qualified midwife in 2004. Jo worked at Leicester hospitals and community as a midwife and also gained her post graduate certificate in medical ultrasound. Jo specialises in early pregnancy scans and works closely with the surrounding hospitals allowing her to refer women as and when needed.
Jo opened miracle in progress in 2010 and through compassion and hard work the business has continued to thrive. Jo has 3 children, Daisy, Eliza and Thomas and has amazing support from her husband Nathan.
Jo has built a huge portfolio from caring for many celebrity women including Katie price , Kerry Katona, Sam Bailey, Natasha Hamilton, Anthony Costa, Michelle heaton and Jamie and Rebekah Vardy.
Sarah is a maternity care assistant and receptionist. Sarah has worked in a customer focused background for over 30 years and has always had a huge interest in pregnancy and expectant families.
Sarah is married to husband tony and has 3 grown up children, Harriet, Alexander and Amie.
Laura has worked for miracle in progress since 2014. Laura has worked in health care for many years and has gained her certificate in early pregnancy and gynaecology sonography.
Laura is an extremely hard worker and thrives on building on her extensive knowledge.
After suffering a loss of her own little boy a few years ago it became her determination to help and care for others, making Laura a huge valued member of the team
Laura is married to her husband gregg and has 3 children, Alfie, Ava and Eden.
Katie has worked as a midwife since 2004 and since qualifying has worked at Leicester hospitals, worked as a midwife in Australia and has been labour ward manager at Coventry hospital. Katie has gained her certificate in obstetric ultrasound and is a huge loved member of the miracle team!
Katie has 3 children, Finlay, Ethan and Gracie , she works very hard being a mum, labour ward midwife and midwife/ sonographer at miracle in progress. Katie also runs the antenatal classes and making of a midwife course.
Dr Tommy Mousa
Mr Mousa specialises in prenatel screening and diagnosis procedures including amniocentesis and CVS. He receives referrals from Boston, Lincoln, Mansfield, Peterborough, Coventry and Kettering Hospitals for assessment and management of complex cases with fetal anomalies. He is part of a team that specialised fetal cardiac service in the East Midland for women who carry babies with cardiac problems and/or have a history of cardiac disease. He runs the specialised maternal medicine clinic that looks after pregnant women with medical problems during pregnancy. He is responsible for providing care during pregnancy and planning delivery. He has a dedicated commitment to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. He runs the advanced 3D/4D ultrasound training courses in the UK. He is the Obstetric research lead at the University Hospital of Leicester and promotes research that help in the care of pregnant women.
Jules is a passionate photographer and has worked in many genres, she now specialises in Newborn and Family photography. She has attained many Gold & Highly Commended awards with the SWPP and is working towards obtaining her Associateship Qualification. “Photographing newborns is an absolute pleasure and an honour to be a part of these very first moments…may aim is capture all the details along with creating beautiful posed images to delight you and adorn your home”
